NEPAL
Nepali jewellery, both contemporary and traditional, likes to use local turquoise with ancient Himalayan coral or coral imported via the Silk Road from the Mediterranean countries. Nepali silversmiths are exceptional at engraving, embossing and fine handcut lacework. Most silverwork is done in small, family run workshops dotted around the valley of Kathmandu. Contemporary pieces are hallmarked at the Edinburgh Assay Office. The pictures shown here are only few examples of our extensive range.
